The circus...well, kind of.

So we took the kids to what we thought would be a circus. I guess I thought it would be like the circus I remember going to at the fairgrounds when I was little. A circus with elephants, a lion, and maybe a few other animals. This is not what we went to today. Today was, as my husband described it, like a bad movie. You know it can't get worse and you hate to leave in the middle because you think, "It's just got to get better." There was a clown who bordered on freakishly annoying, there was a high-wire act, ladies in the air hung by silk fabric, ladies in the air hung by rope, little man balancing on things and, um, that's about it. Very, very strange. So at half time I brought K home and Cliff and T stayed, we're going back to pick them up in a half an hour. T wanted to stay. Perhaps for the same reason Cliff wanted to stay, he's just sure it'll get better. So that's the experience we had with the circus. Oh, and the kids got in free but Cliff and I's admission was $20 each. Grrr....

That totally sucks! But it makes for a good story! I hope you are feeling better.
