So this year Tammy was in charge of getting people to ride in the Sheriff's Office boat for the parade. We happened to be naive enough as to how much rain could actually fall during a parade to fall for it. :0) We got so stinkin' wet. All in all though, I think it was fun for the kids so it was worth it. There does come a point where you can't get any more wet than you are at that point so there isn't really any worries as far as trying to stay dry anymore. We ditched the umbrella before the parade actually even started moving. Guess we figured that we were getting wet whether we liked it or not so we might as well have our hands free to throw candy.
This is what our opinion was of the whole thing in the beginning. :0)
And yet we're still smiling...
I think T was a little confused as to why in the world we were throwing perfectly good candy out into the road.
