May 16th - Trevor's AWANA Awards Night.
T had so much fun this past school year as a Cubbie in the AWANA program at our church. He memorized nearly 25 verses over the year and received patches throughout that time to be placed on his Cubbie vest. The last Wednesday of the AWANA year is an awards night and then the Cubbies had a party back in their classroom with cake. Yum! We never really broached the subject of AWANA being over with T. We knew he'd be so dissappointed so we really didn't ever talk about it. Every once and a while he says, "Hey, we missed to go to Cubbies." "Missed to" means forgot to in Trevor language. :0) And we just tell him again that Cubbies will be back in September. He can't hardly wait!
