Sunriver July 2007

All growing up, I have memories every summer of going to Sunriver. Now as I'm older, it is so much fun to take our kids there. My parents had a place for the week so we came over and spent a few nights with them at the end of their stay. We wandered on the bikepaths (probably T's favorite part) and spent time swimming. And of course, we had to at least make one trip to the infamous Goody's for our ice cream. We also visited the High Desert Museum which had so much more to explore than I thought there would be. Mom's 50th Birthday was one of the days we were in Sunriver so we were able to take her out to dinner and then we all went to my aunt and unlcle's (Karen and Boe's) house in LaPine for cake and ice cream. There is just something about Sunriver that is so relaxing. Its like once you drive in the world starts moving slower. I love it because I can relax without having to worry about all the laundry I need to do or the dust collecting all over my house. We had a great time and are so thankful that Mom and Dad invited us over.
