My big girl

So we started potty training. I had no intentions of beginning this horrible, never ending process but K had other things in mind. It all started as a simple shopping trip to Walmart. I saw some big girl undies so I thought I'd pick them up for later this summer when we started to potty train. I showed them to K knowing full well that she would not be interested. She looked at them and said, "No thanks Mommy, I just go peep in my pants." I thought for sure right then and there that we were going to have the worst time training her. Later that night I was cleaning up the little potty that we used when we potty trained T (which by the way, was less than a year ago - what are we thinking??!!). K saw the potty and said, "I go peeps in there." She sat down a couple of times and by the third of fourth time, she had gone potty in the potty! That was last Thursday night, today is Wednesday and she's been going pee and poop in the potty with very few accidents. We're so proud of her! When did she get so big?

This is K's smile. Everytime we want to take a picture and ask her to smile, she closes her eyes and puts on a big grin. Hopefully she'll keep her eyes open during senior year photos. :0)
